** Important Changes To First Aid
------------------------------------------------------------
We would like to inform you of an important change that will impact your f=
uture first aid courses by Western Canada Fire & First Aid.
As part of our commitment to growth and improvement=2C we have recently im=
plemented the Saga Universal Training Corp. First Aid programs.
Saga Universal Training Corp. is the sibling company of WCFF and has adopt=
ed and improved the WCFF programs under their name since 2019.
Change Details: Intermediate First Aid=2C Basic First Aid & Re-Certificati=
on Programs with Level C CPR & AED.
Previous First Aid Agency: Western Canada Fire & First Aid Inc.
New First Aid Agency: Saga Universal Training Corp.
List of Approved First Aid Agencies: This list is updated on the Alberta O=
HS website every three months=2C and the next update will be December 2023=
=2E
This change is in alignment with our mission to provide you with the highe=
st quality first aid training and certification services. We are excited a=
bout this transformation and believe that it will further enhance your exp=
erience with us.
What can you expect from these changes?
Enhanced Program Content: Our first aid programs incorporate the latest CS=
A Z1210-17 standards and Alberta Plus guidelines. The introduction of the=
CSA standards is to harmonize first aid programs through-out Canada.
We are introducing improved course materials to provide the student with c=
lear language & layman terms.
When it comes to content=2C the student will not notice a difference since=
these standards were introduced in January 2020.
In March 2023=2C WCFF adopted the CSA program name changes.
=E2=80=A2 Intermediate First Aid (previously Standard First Aid) & Re-Cert=
ification.
=E2=80=A2 Basic First Aid (previously Emergency First Aid)
Certificate Issuance: In the coming weeks=2C we will begin the process of=
issuing first aid certificates to reflect our new program name and Saga b=
randing.
Validity and Recognition of Certification:
=E2=80=A2 Our new certificates will be issued digitally with a unique cert=
ificate number.
=E2=80=A2 Digital certificates are loaded on your Saga student profile.
=E2=80=A2 Access certificates and course materials anytime by logging into=
your profile.
Rest assured that the validity and recognition of your first aid certifica=
tes remain unchanged. They will continue to be accepted by all relevant au=
thorities=2C organizations=2C and employers.

Please note that these changes will go into effect on Friday=2C October 13=
=2C 2023.
Be assured=2C any certifications or training you have completed with WCFF=
in the past remain valid and will not be affected by this transition.

ning Corp. is the sibling company of WCFF and has adopted and improved the=
WCFF programs under their name since 2019. </p><p><br /></p><p style=3D"t=

diate First Aid=2C Basic First Aid & Re-Certification Programs with Le=

/strong> This list is updated on the Alberta OHS website every three month=

nt with our mission to provide you with the highest quality first aid trai=
ning and certification services. We are excited about this transformation=

hese changes?</strong></p><p><br /></p><p style=3D"text-align: left;"><str=
ong>Enhanced Program Content:</strong> Our first aid programs incorporate=
the latest CSA Z1210-17 standards and Alberta Plus guidelines. The introd=
uction of the CSA standards is to harmonize first aid programs through-out=
Canada. </p><p><br /></p><p style=3D"text-align: left;">We are introducin=
g improved course materials to provide the student with clear language &am=
p; layman terms. </p><p><br /></p><p style=3D"text-align: left;">When it c=
omes to content=2C the student will not notice a difference since these st=
andards were introduced in January 2020.</p><p><br /></p><p style=3D"text-=
align: left;">In March 2023=2C WCFF adopted the CSA program name changes.=

e:</strong> In the coming weeks=2C we will begin the process of issuing fi=
rst aid certificates to reflect our new program name and Saga branding. </=

tion of Certification:</strong> </p><p style=3D"text-align: left;">=E2=80=
=A2=09Our new certificates will be issued digitally with a unique certific=
