=E2=80=A2 Do not overreach. Move a stepladder when needed
=E2=80=A2 Do not stand=2C climb=2C or sit on the stepladder top or pail sh=
elf or above the top two rungs or steps of the stepladder
=E2=80=A2 Do not overload. Stepladders are meant for one person.
=E2=80=A2 Do not use a stepladder as a brace or as a support for a work pl=
atform or plank
=E2=80=A2 Do not climb a stepladder that is leaning against a wall. Use a=
straight ladder instead.
=E2=80=A2 Do not use stepladders on soft ground where one leg may sink far=
ther into the ground than others or on slippery surfaces
=E2=80=A2 Do not place stepladders on boxes=2C barrels=2C unstable bases=
=2C or on scaffolds to gain additional height.

=E2=80=A2 Keep candles at least 3 feet (1m) away from things that can burn=
